Hey everyone,

Snailsvenue is a small island, and it lacks a great number of schools and other such institutions. Therefore, because the majority of Snailsvenuians are upper-class, most of them send their children to Snailsvenue Private Academy when they pass on to high school, which is why many people can be heard calling it Snailsvenue High School, instead.

The only alternative is the...well...alternative school (school for "corrupt" kids). That's a different set of characters altogether.

If you are interested in seeing the main characters of snailsvenue, go here: [link]

Adobe Illustrator CS, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Snailsvenue and all of its associating characters, logos, and whatnot are (c) myself, Andrew T. Green.

PS: Sorry about the over-obvious watermark. I haven't quite mastered that skill. Is there a good tutorial someone can point me to (no, I'm not kidding)?

Thanks for the description, it helps one understand a bit more of the Snailsvenue world :)
Did I mention snails are one of my fave creatures? :aww: Richard Lovelace wrote a very complete poem about it, and one of it's most defining sonets is:
"Thou thine own daughter then, and sire,
That son and mother art entire,
That big still with thy self dost go,
And liv'st an aged embryo;
That like the cubs of India,
Thou from thyself a while dost play;
But frighted with a dog or gun,
In thine own belly thou dost run,
And as thy house was thine own womb,
So thine own womb concludes thy tomb."

Yup, it's entirely about the snails and their advantages :) it's like an ode to the mollusk :D
I found a place where it is: [link]
Hope you like it, I found that after reading it I respected the snails even more ^-^

{cringes at lack of color the environment has}

well i'd love petting the snail statues anyway :D
But I'm pretty certain Zoe would eat me x_x

Zoe wouldn't eat you. She'd be more likely to lock you into a caged boat and send you off on a perilous ocean to face giant octopi.

Wow, VERY cool. I love the capital snails. And there's the school greenhouse!

Indeed, the school greenhouse. The biology class uses it very often.

Their first animal to study, in fact, is the vampire bird.
