No, because if the person in question compares you to another artist, it could be because they do not know any other way to describe your style. Or, if they are familiar with art and styles maybe it's just their initial reaction. Kind of meeting someone for the first time and going, "oh you look like Bruce Willis!" And the more you hang out with them the more you realize they don't look like Bruce Willis. D:

However I also kind of agree with loremjay. :P

REALLY depends on the artist. I don't hate any general art style, only characters so... nah, I wouldn't mind. Then again, no ones ever done it. XD
I just get comments on if I like yaoi 'cause I put to guys I like in the same picture. :|

Depends on whether comparing means accusing you of copying their style or implying that your art is just as good.
